SERVER-SIDE CONFIGURED DOMAIN POINTERS
A domain pointer is a domain name that points to another domain name. For example, you may wish to register both the .com and .co.uk versions of your domain name. The .com version will be your actual website, but you still want people to be able to access it if they accidentally type in '.co.uk' instead. However, more and more search engines penalise you for having multiple domains resolving to the same website content. Consider using one of our Parking services and using a 301 permanent redirect via zone file maintenance. |
