OUR SHARED SERVERS

Our shared hosting services are provisioned on our High Availability Hardware platform.

Each of our shared web servers use Xeon Quad Core Processors and are designed to host hundreds of websites with ample resources and headroom.

You can choose to host your website with us on either a Windows (IIS) or Linux (Apache) web server.

Your website content is stored on High Availability EMC Clariion RAIDED SAN units - Each SAN unit has multiple paths on to our Fibre channel networkand is fully redundant in that, should any switch fail, the fibre channel network is preserved.

In the event of a web server failure our systems will provision your website via alternative hardware with minimal downtime - usually minutes.

Each web server also has multiple paths to our core network and the Internet.

Monitoring

All shared services hosting, email, dns, SQL and MySQL Servers, are carefully monitored 24 x 7.

We monitor for both current and potential issues thus minimising any potential impact on services.

We work hard to ensure All Customers benefit from their Tollon hosting experience.
